Welcome to the Sonoma Valley High School Health & Wellness (PE) Department.
Students will obtain the greatest benefits from the Physical Education program when they participate regularly and with maximum effort.
We design our program to aid each student in attaining the following goals:
1. To successfully perform a variety of skills which he/she can use in active recreation both during the school year and adult life.
2. To gain knowledge of the rules and playing technique of a variety of activities, to be an active participant and/or an appreciative spectator.
3. To Increase awareness and personal level of PHYSICAL FITNESS of each student.
4. To learn self-control, responsibility, ability to lead and follow, and attitudes of cooperation.
