    Dear Dragon Community,

    Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am honored to serve as Principal of Sonoma Valley High School and excited to start the new school year.  Joining the Dragon Community last school year as a Vice Principal, it was a joy to get to know our students, families, teachers, and staff, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work in partnership with you so SVHS can provide the best possible high school experience for our community.

    This school year, our focus will be on increasing social-emotional support, maintaining high expectations for our students, and ensuring each and every student is college and career ready.  I look forward to continuing to strengthen the relationships with our students, staff, families, and our greater SVHS community. I will be hosting regular office hours for students and/or families to drop in throughout the school year - this can be a chance for us to meet each other, for you to share a concern, or an opportunity to share feedback and ideas for our school. Look out for the office hours dates on our school calendar. I truly believe we are better together and look forward to working with you. I encourage our students to get connected and involved at SVHS. We have an amazing school community with numerous opportunities for student engagement, including leadership opportunities, sports, the arts, clubs, tutoring, and more.  

    We look forward to partnering with you to ensure the safety and academic success of all our students.    We encourage you to access the multiple communication platforms we use to communicate with families.  Follow us on Instagram @svhs_official and stay informed.  Each week, we will share our Digital Bulletin via email and this is a useful resource with updates and information regarding events, activities, and opportunities for our students to get involved.  We encourage our families to participate in family engagement nights and activities.
