Hey Hornets! This Wednesday, we will be having a noontime activity in the quad at lunch. Join us in the quad after the 10 minute bell and write or draw kind messages in the quad with sidewalk chalk. Come and earn spirit points for your advisory class. Hope to see you there! - Leadership

Our annual PTO-sponsored Color Run will take place on May 12. You will get your pledge sheets in Advisory this week. We have set a goal to raise $20,000. That means we hope each student will raise at least $60. There are lots of fun prizes for students who raise money!  

Hey Hornets! This week is our spirit dress up week leading up to our Under-the-Sea themed rally on Friday, May 5th! Dress up and earn spirit points for your advisory class. If you are dressed up, be sure to come out to the Leadership table at lunch in the quad next week to get your points - teachers can earn points for their classes too!!! And as always, your Adele spirit gear to get points as well.
Here are the dress up days:
Monday: Band or Artist T-Shirt Day
Tuesday: Bring a Stuffed Animal to School Day (must be small enough to fit in your backpack)
Wednesday: Onesie Day
Thursday: Rainbow Day (dress in as many colors as you can)
Friday: Tie-Dye Day

The winners from last week's AVID College Wear Tuesday drawing are Student: Marlen Balam and Staff: Mr. Wanous. Don't forget that Tuesday is AVID College Wear Tuesday! Wear something with a college or university name OR wear your AHMS t-shirt. AVID students will be dropping by your advisory class on Tuesday to enter students and teachers with college gear into our weekly raffle!

The school musical team will be selling lollipops at lunch on Tuesdays. They are only 50 cents. Come buy some and support our school.

Athletics schedule 5/1-5/4

Monday 5/1: practice 3:30-4:45

Tuesday5/2: Semi Finals for the sprinters only 

Runners to be dismissed from class at 2:00. Depart at 2:15

Wednesday 5/3: practice 2:30-4:00

Thursday 5/4: FINALS!!! 

Team to be dismissed from class at 1:55. Depart Adele by 2:10
