The winners from last week's AVID College Wear Tuesday drawing are Student: Max Larbre and Staff: Mrs. Crews. Don't forget that Tuesday is AVID College Wear Tuesday! Wear something with a college or university name OR wear your AHMS t-shirt. AVID students will be dropping by your advisory class on Tuesday to enter students and teachers with college gear into our weekly raffle!

Hey Hornets, this coming Wednesday, March 1st, we will be having a Hula Hoop Contest as our noontime activity. This is an opportunity for you to earn some spirit points for your advisory class! Come to the quad after the ten-minute bell to get some competitive hula hooping in. See you there! - Leadership

The Spring See's Candy fundraiser is happening now! 7th graders will receive their order forms on Monday, February 27th to raise money for their Outdoor Ed trip. If you need an order form, please pick one up in the office. All order forms are due by Monday, March 6th.

Listen up to all 7th and 8th graders who are interested in running track. Track practice will begin the week of February 27th. Ms. Thorpe will be having signups during PE this week. Please make sure your name gets on the list if you plan on running this season. You must also have a sports packet completed and turned in PRIOR to the first practice. If you need a sports packet, MS Thorpe will have those available when you sign up.

Practices are an hour and half beginning right after school. You must have proper running shoes and commit to the season. If you have any questions please see Ms. Thorpe.
