Hey Hornets! Our noontime activity is today and will be Duck-Duck-Goose in the quad! Start earning advisory spirit points for trimester 3! Be sure to come to the quad after the 10 minute bell to join us and have some fun!

Leadership would now like to announce the winning advisory class for the Trimester 2 Advisory Spirit Points Competition! In third place with 41% class participation is Mrs. Alioto's advisory class, in second place with 45% class participation is Ms. Orozco's advisory class, and in first place with 48% class participation is Mrs. Lucchetti's advisory class. Congratulations to Mrs. Lucchetti's advisory class - they have won a class party! Our 2nd and 3rd place classes will be receiving a consolation prize. Thank you to all of our student and staff participation over the trimester. We start new this week for trimester 3 spirit points!

Calling all actors, singers, dancers, lighting and sound technicians, and stage crew...it is time for SHREK auditions! Auditions for our school musical, SHREK, will be held today from 2:30pm-5pm in room 604. If you are auditioning, come prepared with a song to sing and be ready to read some lines from the play. If you have any questions or need help preparing, please see Mrs. Alioto. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The annual Gym Jam band concert will take place tonight at 7pm in Pfeiffer Gym on the SVHS campus. This concert will feature students from our own campus, as well as Altimira and the high school. Join us, admission is free!

Listen up to all 7th and 8th graders who are interested in running track. Track practice will begin the week of February 27th. Ms. Thorpe will be having signups during PE this week. Please make sure your name gets on the list if you plan on running this season. You must also have a sports packet completed and turned in PRIOR to the first practice. If you need a sports packet, MS Thorpe will have those available when you sign up.

Practices are an hour and half beginning right after school. You must have proper running shoes and commit to the season. If you have any questions please see Ms. Thorpe.
