Petition for the Renewal of Sonoma Charter School

A formal petition for the renewal of Sonoma Charter School was submitted to SVUSD on December 11, 2025.

Sonoma Charter School Renewal Staff Report

The Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing at the SVUSD February 12th Regular Board Meeting to hear from representatives from SCS and to consider action. 

 

Petition for the Creation of MacArthur Park Charter School

A formal petition for the creation of MacArthur Place Charter School (MPCS) was submitted to SVUSD on October 31, 2025.

The Board of Trustees held a Public Hearing to consider the level of support for the Initial Charter Petition of MPCS at the SVUSD November 13th regular Board meeting.

At the January 8th regular Board meeting, the SVUSD Board of Trustees voted to approve the MPCS Charter Petition.
