Altimira Middle School has implemented a master schedule of courses which provides three block periods daily for students. Students are offered three levels of academic programs to meet their needs: Strategic, Benchmark, and Advanced. All academic programs are standards based and allow students to access core content curriculum. Differentiated Instruction in all classrooms supports all students. Elective courses offer students the opportunity to learn about the arts and technology. Teachers have weekly time for collaboration and professional development to ensure that the best educational practices are in place for all students.
