Happy Birthday yesterday to Etta Weissman!! Tomorrow Ryane Jensen has a birthday!!!

 

There is no school tomorrow to observe Veteran’s Day! We will see you on Friday!!

 

Congratulations to our 6th grade representative winners! Our elected 6th grade rep for Dual Immersion is Santiago C. Our elected 6th grade rep for Projects is Lala F. Our elected 6th grade rep for High School Prep is Chiara A. Congratulations to you all and thank you to all of our 6th grade rep nominees!

 

Hey Hornets! Join us on Wednesday at lunch in the gym after the 10 minute bell for another fun noontime activity of Spike Ball! This is the first activity to earn Advisory spirit points for Trimester 2. Come out and join us on Wednesday!

 

Listen up 8th graders! You were sent an 8th grade hoodie ballot with the top 5 hoodie designs from our very own 8th grade class. The ballot was emailed to all 8th graders on Tuesday morning to vote for your favorite 8th grade hoodie. The hoodie design that gets the most votes will be the one we use for the 8th grade class of 2022! The voting will be open until Friday, Nov. 12th at 7:00 pm, so be sure to get your vote in!

 

Attention 6th Graders! The library now has new Chromebook covers for the 6th grade Chromebook! Come by the library to purchase one. They are $25 cash or check made out to AHMS

 

Students!!! Are you interested in being part of a program that prepares for college and career? Then join the Talent Search Program. You can pick up an application in the counseling office or download the application from the student bulletin, Talent Search Application. Application tip: you will have a stronger application by giving lots of details about yourself in the application, the more information the better. Applications are due November 12.   If questions see Ms Marshall in the counselors office.

Wednesday 11/10- GAME DAY!

Basketball is home- No need for early dismissal for either team. 

VB travels to Altimira


Thursday 11/11- No School this Day

8th VB- TBD

7th BB- 3:30-5:00

8th BB 7:00-8:30


Friday 11/12

7th BB- 3:30-5:00

8th BB- 5:00-6:30

 

This year due to Covid protocols and safety measures there will be no students allowed at our home basketball and volleyball games. The only students allowed inside the gym will be the players from the 7th/8th grade teams or siblings of the players that are accompanied by an adult.  We are limiting the fan base to strictly family members only. Masks must be worn inside and all eating and drinking must take place outside.
