Mindful Monday- Breathing

Tuesdays are for mindful breathing! Today, we will try the 4-7-8 breathing technique. This breathing pattern helps with reducing anxious feelings and is a good one to try before going to sleep! In this technique, you breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and breathe out slowly for 8 seconds. Do this pattern 5 times over!

Hey Hornets….here is a special request from the Library here in Sonoma….if you are looking for something to do this week, see below for all the details.  Remember, cards are due to the Library in Sonoma (not the Adele Library) by Dec. 18^th. 

What is it?  An Outreach Project to create handmade New Year’s cards for the elder neighbors in our community. If you would like to participate, you may drop off your submissions by December 18th at the Sonoma Valley Regional Library during our normal curbside- picks hours. (listed below)

 We kindly ask that cards are inclusive to everyone, so please omit religious language and symbols as you wish someone a happy New Year.

 Please do not use glitter and cards no larger than 8 ½ x 11.

 Only include your first name and do not reveal any personal information or real-life pictures of yourself
