Well Hello Again My Dearest Hornets….It’s me, Ms. VanHorn, your ever faithful Office Manager, coming at you for another year of Student Bulletins.  (Ok 7^th and 8^th graders, stop groaning!) I plan on emailing these every day that we are on Distance Learning so you get the info on what is happening here at the school for both you and your families.  As in the past, if you have any questions on what is listed, give us a call here in the office, we’re here to help!  And away we go!!!!!

Today we start our first “full”day of school.  It’s an “A” day, which means you have Periods 1, 3 and 5.  If you have a 0 period, you start at 7:30, and then everyone goes to their Advisory class at 8:30.  Remember to be “in class” at the beginning of each period.  Here is what A and B days look like.  Maybe you could cut and paste the image below into your desktop so you have it?  Just a thought.

In case you were wondering, we are going to have beginning of year pictures taken, we just have to work out the details on how it will happen.  We’ll be sure to let you and your parents know what day we decide to use, and will be able to give you some more items that the District has purchased to help you with doing your school work at home.  Stay Tuned!

It’s time for Hornet Humor!  Every day we have a joke to start your day with a smile….as the 7^th and 8^th graders already know, I don’t have many jokes in my brain, so I rely on students to help me out.  If you have a joke that you want to share, email it to me at dvanhorn@sonomaschools.org.  Otherwise, I’ll have to use the same jokes over and over.  You’ve been warned!
