IMPORTANT NEWS FOR BUS RIDERS!  TODAY is the last day you can ride the bus without a bus pass.  You need to get your pass from the Transportation office on Railroad Ave.  Starting Monday, no pass, no ride…so take care of this ASAP!

Come to the quad today at lunch to sign up to participate in the glow parade this Saturday! Don’t forget to wear your Adele Spirit wear; we’ll provide the glow stuff for you to wear in the parade.  Let’s all get our glow on and show our Hornet Spirit!  Thanks, Leadership

To stay in theme with the Glow Parade on Saturday, this Friday's spirit dress-up day will be Neon Day! You have to have 50% or more neon clothing to gain your advisory class 2 points. You can also wear spirit wear for 2 points. You can only earn 2 points maximum. 

This Friday's noontime activity will be an Egg Race! You have the chance to win 3 points for your Advisory class simply by crossing the finish line and 15 extra points if you are the fastest racer. If you're wondering what an Egg Race is, it's when you try to keep an egg balanced on a spoon while racing through an obstacle course. The first person to sign up from each Advisory class will be able to race for points. Come on out to the black top after the 10 minute bell. See you there! Leadership

Hey all you dancers out there, it’s not too late to sign up for the traditional Mexican style of dance, Calabaceados.  On Friday the two students from the high school who are running this program will be here at lunch to answer any questions you might have and give you the opportunity to sign up.  Be sure to check it out!

Heads up all ….  This coming Monday will be picture re-take day….if you didn’t get your picture taken before, you will be getting a pass to come and have it taken, all the rest of you will need to bring your picture packet back that day to get out of class…..remember, Monday September 30^th during 2^nd and Advisory periods.  Questions, come and see Ms. VH in the office.

Hey listen up all you dodgeball fans! Guess what time it is?!!! That's right, it is Dodgeball intramural Madness time!!!  The Fall Dodgeball intramurals goes like this.  You must create a team that is a total of 8 players. This roster must have at least  2 8th graders, 2 7th graders, 2 6th graders and 2 girls on your team.  Ask around and start creating your team. You can get the sign up form from Ms Thorpe or up in the main office. Don't put this off. Ms Thorpe is only going to be accepting the teams turned into her up until this Friday at lunch.
