Adele Harrison MS Student Bulletin, September 13, 2019 A Day

Attention all bike riders…..We want to see more students riding their bikes to school this year!  We know some of your bikes aren’t working so great and that’s why we’ve invited The BikeMobile to provide Free Tune Ups for everyone here!

Is your bike making one of those mystery sounds?  Is it in your garage collecting dust because it has a flat tire - or worse, no tire at all?  If so, bring it to school on Sept. 18th between 2:30 – 5:30 because the BikeMobile will be providing free tune ups and repairs! The BikeMobile can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears, and even replace broken or worn out parts like chains, seats, and tires. The only thing it can’t do is replace missing wheels or gears. Hope to see you there!

While the mechanics work on your bike they’ll explain how your bike works and how to keep it running smooth. Space is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot. Bike or no bike, everyone is welcome to attend!

Happey VISCO day everyone!  Don’t forget to come to the noontime activity to slingshot a scrunchie a far as you can. The scrunchies will be on the field, so come on out after the 10 minute bell to earn points for your advisory class! The scrunchie that goes the farthest wins!

Senior Project dance opportunity!  Two seniors from SVHS are presenting a Senior Project which is a dance class to learn Dance Calabaceados, a form of Mexican Folkloric Ballet.  Classes will begin on the 30th of Sept. and will be taught at the High School in Room K-1.  For more information and Permission forms, come to the office at break or lunch to pick one up.  Remember, you need to sign up and have the permission form turned in before attending the first class. Check it out!

Have a great weekend everyone and see you on Monday.
