A reminder that today after the 10 min bell during lunch, there will be a GSA club meeting in room 203.   AND tomorrow, after the 10 min bell during lunch there will be an Ecology club meeting in room 402.  Just so you know!

Don’t forget that TODAY is picture retake day…..if you didn’t get your picture taken on our original days back in Aug. you will receive a pass to come to the Library to take your photo and get your ID.  Anyone else wanting a retake of photos you purchased must bring the picture packet back to school to show your teacher and get out of class.  Any questions, come see Ms. VH in the office.

 

Happy Hornet Dress up day!  This Friday Leadership is having Happy Hornet Day….dress up in yellow and black or as a hornet to support our school mascot!  To celebrate free hornet hug day, come out and get a hug from your favorite mascot, the AHMS Hornet.  See you there!  Leadership

 

And also happening on Friday at lunch, our favorite treat Jamba Juice will be here with some yummy for your tummy treats.  Cost is $4. 

 

Hey listen up all you dodgeball fans!  Due to the soccer field being under construction and a big portion of our lunch time activity area being unavailable Ms Thorpe has decided to run a special Fall Dodgeball Tournament.   The spring tournament is always a lot of fun so Ms Thorpe hopes that we can bring some of that same excitement to this tournament as well.  But before you start setting up your team please listen carefully to the rules. Your team will consist up 8 player’s total. You MUST have 2 6th graders on your team, you must have 2 7th graders on your team, you must have 2 8th graders on the team and you must have 2 girls on your team.  The sign up forms will be with Ms Thorpe or you can find a copy in the office.  The rosters must be completely filled out and turned into Ms Thorpe or her box up in the main office by Monday October 2nd.  The tournament will start Wednesday 10/4.
