Aloha Adele! Hope you dressed in Hawaiian/topical gear today to earn some spirit points for your advisory class! Today at lunch is our first noontime activity - Hula Hoop Frisbee Toss. Come on out to the field after the 10 minute bell to earn more points for your advisory class. Remember: the advisory class with the most points at the end of the trimester will win a prize. Save the Date!  Next Wednesday, Sept 4^th is Back to School Night here at Adele.  This is the evening where your parents can come and go to all your classes to hear what you are going to be doing this school year.  Mark it in your calendars…..a flyer will be going home today during Advisory to help you remember.  Thanks!

Remember, college wear count happens every Tuesday. So when you return from our three day weekend on Tuesday, be sure to wear college gear to earn college wear points for your advisory class!!

Dance Team Announcement!

Are you interested in Dance?  Dance team will start on Thursday, Sept 5^th at lunch.  Meet in room 604 with Ms. Alioto after you have gotten your lunch on every B day.  This year you might perform for the school’s basketball games!  It is a super fun experience.  What are you waiting for?  We hope to see you there!

Attention all Adele Students! Our first school dance is next Friday, September 6 right after school from 3:30-5:00. Leadership will be selling tickets all next week at lunch for $5. Come by our table in the quad to buy your ticket in advance.

1^st day of practice will be Friday  8/30  from 3:30-5:30   

Practice Tuesday 9/3 3:30-5:00 followed by a parent meeting in room 604 at 5:30

Cross Country: Girls & boys-  6^th, 7^th, 8^th graders may run 

Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30
