Hey Hornets, we have a dance coming up on February 2^nd.  It’s from 5:30 – 7:00 and is for 7/8 graders only.  You may invite your friend from other schools.  Pick up an invitation form in the office.  We also need parent chaperones, ask your parents if they want to help out, and have them email Ms. Liscum.

Hey Hornets!  Time to get cozy for our school movie night!!  The winning movie was “Back to the Future!.  Bring your comfy lawn chairs, pillows, blankets, and PJ’s and enjoy the show!  The date is Friday, Jan 26^th and tickets will be sold the 24^th – 26^th during lunch and at the door.  The cost of tickets is $3.  Doors open at 5:30 and the movie starts @ 6:00.  This event is open to anyone who would like to come, including family and friends, so be sure to spread the word.  We are also selling food!  We’ll have popcorn, pizza, candy, drinks and more!  See you there, Leadership

Listen Up!  The Women’s Empowerment Club is having a fundraiser on Friday, Jan 26^th at lunch in the gym.  It is a Free Throw competition.  The participants will pay $2 to shoot as many hoops as they can under 45 seconds.  The top two throwers will each win a $15 gift card to Dutch Brothers.  All funds will be donated to help refugee girls get an education.  We will be taking general donations as well.  Hope to see you all there!  WEC

And one more thing….this coming Friday we are on a special “C” day schedule, where we will have all of your classes in one day.  Since we will be starting with a B day schedule we want to remind all Compact math students that they will be going to Altimira that morning, just like usual.  Don’t forget!
