Listen Up Hornets….if you want to learn more about the exciting opportunities in Agriculture, here is your opportunity to explore.  SVHS is hosting a three day workshop to learn more about Technology in Viticulture, Drones in Agriculture and AgriTechnology (new ideas on how to feed the world, animal genetics and more!).  The classes happen on Jan. 24^th, Jan 31^st and Feb 7^th (all on Wednesday), after school here at Adele.  If you want more information, come to the office to pick up the flyer/permission slip. This is open to all students here at Adele, so ck it out!

Hey 6^th graders….the 6^th grade spelling bee is happening on Monday, January 22nd !  Be sure to bring your permission slips to the office before the Bee so we know how many are participating.  It happens at lunch in the Library.

Hey Hornets!  Time to get cozy for our school movie night!!  Go vote for the movie you would like to see, there will be a link in next week’s Hornet Happenings or you can check an email that was sent out via school loop.  Bring your comfy lawn chairs, pillows, blankets, and PJ’s and enjoy the show!  The date is Friday, Jan 26^th and tickets will be sold the 24^th – 26^th during lunch and at the door.  The cost of tickets is $3.  Doors open at 5:30 and the movie starts @ 6:00.  This event is open to anyone who would like to come, including family and friends, so be sure to spread the word.  We are also selling food!  We’ll have popcorn, pizza, candy, drinks and more!  See you there, Leadership

Listen Up!  The Women’s Empowerment Club is having a fundraiser on Friday, Jan 26^th at lunch in the gym.  It is a Free Throw competition.  The participants will pay $2 to shoot as many hoops as they can under 45 seconds.  The top two throwers will each win a $15 gift card to Dutch Brothers.  All funds will be donated to help refugee girls get an education.  We will be taking general donations as well.  Hope to see you all there!  WEC
