Listen up if you are interested about learning more about STEM.  This Friday there will be an information meeting about a Girls in STEM Club beginning here at AHMS. This club will expose students to the STEM fields. We will work on building projects, CAD, coding on Scratch, science endeavors, as well as guest speakers. The club is not gender exclusive, there is just a focus on women in STEM fields since there is an underrepresentation. The first informational meeting will be on Friday, September 22nd in Mr. Wanous's Room. Come to room 302 this Friday after the 10 minute bell to hear all the details!

Yearbook News!  Hurry up and buy your yearbook!  Buy your yearbook before Sept 29^th to get the lowest price of $40!  You can pick up a flyer in the office, go to the s link on school loop in the “news”: section or you can go to www.jostens.com.  It’s super easy and fast…but act now….prices will go up after the 29^th!  Thanks, the Yearbook class

Attention ALL BUS RIDERS….starting this Friday you MUST have your bus pass with you to ride the bus.  If you still haven’t purchased your pass, you need to do so by tomorrow.  Remember, no pass, no ride, starting on Friday.

Hey, just puttin’ on your radar that next Wednesday, Sept. 27^th is Picture Make Up day…..if you were absent or otherwise didn’t get your picture taken on our original days, you will be getting a pass at the beginning of the day to come to the Library to take your picture….anyone else wanting to get a re-take of your original pic, you need to bring your picture pack back to school that day, and show it to your teacher to get out of class.  If you didn’t purchase pictures, you cannot get a re-take.  If you have any questions, come and see Ms. VH in the office during break or lunch.

Thursday: Away meet vs Lawrence Jones  (Rohnert Park)….team dismissed at 2:00 for a 2:15 departure

Friday: no practice

Soccer:

Monday: Practice 3:30 – 5:15

Tuesday Away match vs Washington (in Cloverdale) Team get ready by 1:20 (during lunch) for at 1:40 departure

Wednesday: Practice 2:45 – 4:30

Thursday: Home vs Healdsburg.  Team dismissed from class at 2:55
