Wrestling:

Listen up to all those that are interested in Wrestling. Come meet Coach Jake  this Thursday right after school at the picnic tables that are next to the outdoor basketball courts. The meeting will only be about 15 minutes.  Be sure to have also signed your name up on the list and have turned in your sports packet to Ms Thorpe.  If you have any questions see Ms Thorpe

This year due to Covid protocols and safety measures there will be no students allowed at our home basketball and volleyball games. The only students allowed inside the gym will be the players from the 7th/8th grade teams or siblings of the players that are accompanied by an adult.  We are limiting the fan base to strictly family members only. Masks must be worn inside and all eating and drinking must take place outside.

Wrestling season is approaching. Wrestling is offered to ALL students. 6th-8th graders. The season starts January 18th and goes until March 5th. The practices and matches will be Monday thru Friday. Practices will be for 2 hours right after school. Covid testing will be weekly and required by all student athletes regardless of being vaccinated or not.

Ms Thorpe will be having signups for wrestling during the PE classes this week. Please make sure to sign your name on the list. If you have not completed an athletic packet this school year you MUST take an athletic packet home and have it signed and filled out completely. Return this sports packet to Ms Thorpe by Thursday January 13th.

If you have any questions please see or contact Ms Thorpe @ jthorpe@sonomaschools.org    There will also be an opportunity for any students interested in wrestling to meet the coach next week.
