Hey Hornets! This week, November 1st-5th, is our Fall Spirit Week. This will be your last chance to earn spirit points for your Advisory class. Remember the Advisory class with the highest participation percentage at the end of Trimester 1 gets a party! You can check out the leaderboard next to the gym to see your class standings. Here are the dress up themes: Monday is Crazy Hat and Sunglasses Day, Tuesday is Plaid Shirt Day, Wednesday is dress up as your favorite Adam Sandler Movie Character Day, Thursday is Hippie Day, and Friday is Fall Colors Day (orange, maroon, red, yellow, or brown). Remember you can also wear your AHMS t-shirts to earn spirit points. There will be a table set up in the quad every day this week. If you dress up, go to that table to earn points for your Advisory class. We will also be selling raffle tickets all this week. If you buy a raffle ticket, you will have a chance to win a bucket of candy at the Spirit Rally on November 5th. The tickets are sold at 3 for $1. Hope to see you all dress up!

Attention 6th Graders! The library now has new Chromebook covers for the 6th grade Chromebook! Come by the library to purchase one. They are $25 cash or check made out to AHMS. 

Students!!! Are you interested in being part of a program that prepares for college and career? Then join the Talent Search Program. You can pick up an application in the counseling office or download the application from the student bulletin, Talent Search Application. Application tip: you will have a stronger application by giving lots of details about yourself in the application, the more information the better. Applications are due November 12.   If questions see Ms Marshall in the counselors office.

From Your PE teachers:

If there are any students needing to make up a run for PE or want to redo a run, Mr. Hoban and Ms. Thorpe will be having a make-up run opportunity this Friday 10/29 and next Friday 11/5. You must be in the gym at 8:25 to check in for the run. If you have a zero period you must communicate ahead of time that you would like to come make up a run. If you have any questions please ask your PE teacher.

Listen up 7th grade boys basketball team, please meet Ms Thorpe in the locker room breezeway after the 10 minute bell of lunch.
