Mindful Monday- Positive Affirmations

One way to be mindful is to practice noticing and controlling your thoughts. Sometimes thoughts can be negative and make us feel sad. Other times our thoughts can come and go too quickly and make us feel worried. In order to control your thoughts it can help to repeat positive affirmations to yourself. Anytime your thoughts are making you feel down, you can repeat these affirmations. Give it a try… 

First, repeat these three affirmations to yourself:

  • I am loved by myself and others
  • I am letting go of my worries
  • I can learn from the challenges that happen

Now create two more affirmations that can help you stay present and calm:
