6/7 graders, today during Advisory you will be coming to the gym to vote for next year’s ASB officers.  Ck in with your Advisory teachers then come to the gym. Bring your backpacks since you will need your chrome book to vote!

Also today, the Graduating Seniors who attended Adele Harrison as middle schoolers, will be visiting us today, sometime between noon and noon thirty.  We’ll do an all call when they arrive, and your teachers will direct you as to where to stand so you can wish them good luck on their next adventure after high school.

If you still have library books checked out, today is the last day to get them turned in. After that, you will be on Library LOP, which means, if you don’t take care of biz, you will not be going to Hornet Hoopla!  So avoid the stress, turn in your books today and you’re all good!  Thanks, Ms. Harrison

Hello Adele Harrison Students and Staff,

The Yearbooks have arrived! We are in the process of organizing the books to distribute next Thursday, May 24th and Friday, May 25th at lunch in the quad.   We will have tables set up in alphabetical order and a special table for personalized yearbooks pick-up.   Yearbooks will also be available to buy at $50 with cash.

Attention Lion King cast:  There will be a cast party for everyone who participated in the production of the Lion King on  Monday, May 21^st  in the gym. Bring your lunch and treats will be served as well. The party will go into 5th period so let your 5th-period teacher know you'll be late.

8^th graders….the end is near!!!!  In case you’ve been sleeping for the last month during the reading of the bulletin, you should know that TODAY is the final day to turn in your Promotion Paperwork, with the Payment!  Bring it NOW to the office and give to Ms. VH so she can stop nagging you in the bulletin!  Hugs, Ms. VH

Attention 8th graders who wish to perform at the promotion ceremony!  There will be one tryout on Wednesday, May 23 at 8:30 a.m. in room 604.  If you are singing, you must come prepared with a song and know all of the lyrics.  You can sing a cappella, bring your own karaoke track or accompany yourself with an instrument.  You can also chose to play a musical instrument only; you must know the song without music.  The song's theme should have something to do with the themes of promotion (moving on, advice, friends, love, growing up, etc...)  Duets are fine.  Any questions, see Ms. Spitzer.

And hey 8^th graders (again!).  Our 8^th grade Awards Night happens next week, Thursday, May 24^th.  Invitations have been mailed out to the families of our award recipients, so be sure to check your mail.  The event starts at 6:30 on the 24^th, and we suggest that you park in the high school parking lot, or on the street, as our staff parking lot will be closed so presenters can use it.  It’s going to be a wonderful evening.  See you there!

Do you want to dance at AHMS sporting events, gain performance skills, and be a part of a team? Tryout for Adele Harrison’s Dance Team!!  Next year, 2018-2019 Dance Team Auditions - Monday, May 21 from 3:30-5 pm in Room 604. The dance team is part of Sonoma Valley High School student Sebastian Lopez's Senior Project. Wear dance/athletic shoes and or dance shoes (if you have them). Hair needs to be pulled off of your face and bring plenty of water. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Alioto.
