Ms. Ventura’s Advisory class’s gratitude project! Upon returning to school after the fires, Ms. Ventura’s Advisory class chose as their gratitude project to donate the proceeds of a bake sale to the Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation. This foundation is holding a fundraiser to help agricultural workers and their families hit hard by the wildfires impact on Sonoma’s famous wine industry. On Friday, November 17, students from Adele Harrison Middle School held a fundraiser at the school dance to raise money to go to victims of the October fires through the Grape Growers Foundation. The students raised approximately $115. In addition, Sweet Scoops, who was also at the dance, donated 10% of the profits made that night. Way to go Hornets! Not only did you give back to your community, you inspired others to do the same.

 

Hey Hornets, we’re having a canned food drive!  Bring non-perishable foods to your Advisory class and put into the box in the room.  The class with the most food collected will win cookies and an early release to break.  Make sure to turn in your food by December 15^th.  Thanks, Leadership

 

Hey Hornets, we have a Winter Dance coming up on December 15^th.  We need parent chaperons, so ask your parents to

e-mail Ms. Liscum if they can come help.  The dance is from 5:30 – 7 and is for 7^th and 8^th graders only.  Thanks!
