Yesterday we started our HHH Afterschool Homework program.  This is for students who want to come in and get some help with their homework.  This is NOT Hornet Nest where we call your parents.  Students are responsible for letting their parents know if they are staying.   As of this time, there is no bus to take kids home, so you either need to walk/bike home or have someone who will pick you up.  We should have buses available beginning Thursday.  HHH will be in the Library for now and ends at 4:15.  We still do not have a start date for Hornet Nest, it will begin later.  Thanks

Builders Club is back!  The first meeting of the school year happens today, 9/6 in room 503 during lunch.  Builders Club is a service organization that works with different programs in our community.  If you haven’t been there before, be sure to come and check it out!  See you there, Ms. Castaneda.

Hey Hornets, this week we have our first dance of the year!  The theme is black and white.  Tickets will be sold all week during lunch for $5 and will be $6 at the door.  The dance is on Friday, from 3:30-5.  Hope to see you there!  Oh, and this just in…..The Sweet Scoops ice cream folks will be at the dance AND we have a Special DJ…..it’s going to be a great dance!  Leadership

Week of 9/4

BB practice Tues and Thurs this week; 3:30 – 5.  No practice on Wednesday or Friday, but there will be a meeting during lunch about uniforms on Friday.

Soccer practice Tuesday, Thursday 3:30- 5:15.  Wednesday 2:45 – 4:30.  All at SVHS

Cross Country practice Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-4:30.
