Hey Hornets, Listen up!  This coming Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 21^st and 22^nd are Picture days here at Adele.  During PE classes these two days everyone will be getting their picture taken for their ID cards and for Yearbook photos.  If you want to order pictures, you MUST bring in your Picture Order form that was in your packet of papers you picked up for Registration and give it to the photographer when you get your picture taken.  If you cannot find it, come to the office during break or lunch today or tomorrow to pick up another one.

Remember, All students get their pictures taken, so wear a nice outfit on whichever day you have PE.  (0 period students, you may need to take pictures on both days since you have a shorter period, so be aware).  Any questions, come see Ms. VH in the office

Heads up all….our first Jamba Juice fundraiser is happening tomorrow during lunch.  The cost is $4.  Don’t forget!  Leadership

Attention 7^th and 8^th graders:  If you are interested in becoming a TA, your options are getting slimmer….Ms. G in room 201 still needs 1^st and 2^nd period and the Office still need 2^nd and 3^rd. 

Yearbook Info.  Ms. Wedell wants everyone to know that yearbooks are available for purchase for the super low price of $40!  This offer only lasts until the end of Sept., so come to the office and pick up a flyer for all the info!  Thanks

The Boys and Girls Club will be on site this today and tomorrow to run some boys BB scrimmages/clinics during lunch.  Come to the blacktop after the 10 minute bell to check it out!                                                        

Athletics!

Tryouts for Soccer happen next Monday and Tuesday 8/21 and 8/22 from 3:30-5:15 and Wed. 8/23 from 2:45 – 4:30.  Final team rosters will be posted after Wednesday tryout at 5:30.  All tryouts and practices will be at the high school field.

Tryouts for Girls BB (7^th and 8^th grade) happen Tuesday 8/22 and Thursday 8/24 from 3:30 – 5:15.  Coach  Thorpe will meet the girls in the gym/locker room and the teams will be posted Friday morning outside the gym doors.

Cross Country CO-ED 6^th – 8^th grade practices will begin 8/28, Monday Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-4:30.  Coach Hoban will meet the athletes out at the blacktop at 3:30 on each day.
